Mount Pleasant is a neighborhood located in the Northwest Quadrant of D.C. Mount Pleasant is a very eclectic and vibrant neighborhood. It celebrates many different cultures with retail shops and restaurants inspired from places all over the world.  The neighborhood itself has a small town feel, but has easy access to downtown D.C.

The main strip of this area is about three blocks of a variety of restaurants, stores, and commercial buildings. Residents enjoy visiting the well-known National Zoo, and Rock Creek Park. Mount Pleasant is neighbored by Adams Morgan, U Street, and Dupont Circle giving this neighborhood access to great night-life locations. Smaller apartment buildings, condos, and row houses make up most of this neighborhood. The streets filled with trees despite the active main street.

Mount Pleasant is a short walk to the Cleveland Park Metro stop, which is on the Red Line, and the Columbia Heights Metro stop on the Yellow and Green lines. Metro Busses are also very accessible for residents to use, making it easy to get around.

A few public schools in the area are Bancroft Elementary, Lincoln Middle School, and Woodrow Wilson Senior High School.
