Shane Lynch

Shane has been a licensed Realtor for over 5 years. After 15 years of work in the area of HIV/AIDS Prevention Education both in his home state of Iowa and in Washington, DC, he left the human services field and became a cabinetmaker and restored antique furniture. During this time, he obtained his real estate agent's license so that he could work part time as an agent's assistant in Baltimore, MD. During his stay in Baltimore, he renovated a 1917 Charles Village row house and a 1925 Greektown town home. Eventually, he sold both properties and returned to Washington where he obtained his DC and Virginia real estate licenses and began working as a full time agent with Buyer's Edge. Shane brings years of experience as a Realtor, home owner and house renovator to Buyer's Edge. When not helping buyers find great deals on homes, Shane enjoys an avocation as a freelance writer and is well known for rescuing and finding good homes for stray cats and kittens in his DC neighborhood of Brookland.
