A founding broker at Buyer's Edge, Dave has been with the agency since its inception in 1991. He is a founding member of the National Association of Exclusive Buyer's Agents and prides himself on being a great advisor and negotiator. His goal is to individually craft the best strategy for each client's home buying needs. The novel idea of starting a real estate firm that exclusively represents home buyers was scoffed at by many realtors at the time, but appealed to Dave's desire to provide superior customer service. It also made perfect sense to Dave because, as a small business owner, he had been accustomed to exclusive tenant representation when leasing commercial space.

Prior to joining Buyer's Edge, Dave owned a computer graphics and design business. He earned his undergraduate degree West Virginia Wesleyan College and did his graduate work at Lamar University. The son of a naval officer, Dave's family moved seven times by the time he was in second grade, so he has a very good idea of what impact moving can have on a family. Dave currently coaches basketball for the Catholic Youth Organization. He lives in the Sumner neighborhood of Bethesda with his wife and three children.
