It is not rare for larger homes in Greater Kensington to reach upwards of $1 million on the market. Despite Kensington’s historic business district, most residents travel by car to the region’s larger commercial areas for work.

Educationally, Kensington students attend Montgomery County’s nationally recognized public schools. In fact, Bethesda-Chevy Chase and Walter Johnson High Schools consistently rank in the nation’s top 100.
