Today, the Washington, DC Metro area was expecting their one big snow storm of the season. Folks were going crazy in neighborhood grocery stories frantically picking up food supplies. Schools and the federal government were closed for the day to keep everyone home and off the roads. Local governments pre-treated roads to be on the safe side. Meteorologists on news channels were predicting 4 to 8 inches snow accumulation in around Washington, DC. There seemed to be a happy buzz in the air. What fun it was going to be to have a little white snow fall before the spring real estate market came out in full force.
